Our method development team have a wide depth of analytical knowledge and expertise. They use this in developing methods for pharmaceutical and cosmetics products. Additionally, they use this knowledge in API’s and ingredient method development. Developed in accordance with ICH guidelines, we focus on developing methods that are not only fit for purpose but are robust enough to be effective in a large variety of laboratories.

Pharmaceutical Method Development Relationships

Being incorporated with a manufacturing facility gives us access to Qualified Persons. This relationship provides up to date advice and the experience to deliver practical methods. Our network with other sectors within BCM has provided us with valuable exposure, allowing us to gain experience in products at early stages through to final submission. 

In House Method Development

Our dedicated team is able to carry out in-house reference standard qualifications for your study. In addition to this, they implement stress testing for the development of stability-indicating methods.

Development Equipment

BCM Analytical services contain a wide variety of equipment for the use in Method Development. This includes a chromatographic technique such as GC and HPLC with a wide range of detectors. With the use of Drylab software, our Method Development team are able to optimise test methods at an efficient competitive rate. This allows for a full picture approach to the pharmaceutical development process.

Spectroscopy Suite

We also offer a comprehensive spectroscopic suite including ICP-MS, ICP-OES, XRF, XRD, AA, UV and IR. Along with the development of methods for traditional wet chemical techniques.

Our Facilities and Equipment for Development

We have facilities and equipment for an array of sample preparation techniques. These include dissolution, solid-phase extraction, liquid-liquid extraction and microwave digestion.
